TWIX HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!
TWIX~approximatily 7-8 months old, purebred Border Collie (we know where
he originally came from), no papers, neutered, current vaccinations, heartworm negative and on prevention.
Twix came into the vet clinic I work for wth a broken leg, and his owners were going to put him to sleep, so we asked them to release him to us. Once released from the vet he should be able to go on a do regular activities. He is housebroke, kennel and leash trained, he does not have any obedience, but we are working on that, he is very willing to please, but still very much a puppy.
UPDATE~4-13-06 Twix has been released from the vet. He is doing very well with obedience, even off leash training is going well. He is doing much better about riding in the car. Twix can be a bit hyper (he is still young and driven) so he will need an active home. He is indoor/outdoor!
Our ideal home for Twix would be an indoor/outdoor home, that could spend alot of time with him. He loves to go for walks and be with us, very sweet natured dog. Gets along well with other dogs, he does get excited about the cats, but we are working on this. Does great with other people and children.
Due to the break and dislocation in his leg, we can not gaurantee that he will not develop early arthritis. He is using the leg fine and you would never know that their was a problem.
UPDATE~5-26-06~Twix has been adopted into a wonderful home!!!
UPDATE~May 2007 We got to see Twix and he is doing wonderful and is a big mommas boy!!!
LUCY LOU~Chocolate Lab puppy~Female~
ADOPTED!!
She is about 11 weeks old, we found Lucy in the middle of the road about to be hit by a car, no one has ever came forward to claim her. She is housebroke and kennel trained. We are working on leash and obedience training. She has the sweetest dispositon, and so wants to please you, she get along well with the pups, dogs and the cats.
Lucy has been spayed, started on heartworm and flea prevention, she is currenet on her vaccinations.
Her adoption fee is $150.00 (paid to our vet for her care).
Lucy has been adopted to a wonderful family with a farm, her name is now Maggie!!!
WE HAVE A GOOD FRIEND THAT HAS SOME ADULT MALE AND FEMALE BORDER COLLIES AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, THEY ALSO HAVE SOME RESCUE BORDER COLLIES AND BORDER COLLIE MIXES AVAILABLE, THEY ARE CURRENTLY LOCATED IN INDIANA, WE WILL BE MEETING WITH OUR FRIEND AND CAN BRING THE DOGS BACK TO KY.
